Who is this suitable for?

Our classes are suitable for total beginners who have never used a sewing machine before to those with more experience. Our tutor will guide you through your chosen project at your own pace.

What will I learn?

There are so many options when it comes to sewing. You may chose to make a simple bag or cushion, a memory bear or other toy, a wearable garment using a dressmaker's pattern or a quilt using patchwork and quilting techniques of which there are many. The possibilities are endless.

You will work on your own project and our tutor is here to provide inspiration and guidance for your project from start to finish.​

What do I need to bring?

You will need to provide your own pattern, fabrics and it’s best to have your own sewing kit and fabric scissors also. We have plenty of cutting mats and sewing machines for you to use as well as overlockers. As a student with us you will receive a 10% discount* on anything bought in store (*exclusions apply). We will also provide refreshments during the class and there are usually biscuits brought in to enjoy!

When can I start?

You can start at any time subject to availability.

We have a maximum of 6 students per group.  Once your course starts your six lessons will run consecutively and any missed lessons cannot be carried over unless the tutor reschedules.
